Be a Blessing to Mike Tidmore!

Hi, my name is Jerry Talbot and I am fundraising to help Mike Tidmore out during this tough time. Mike is my son’s father and grandfather to my adorable grand girls!

Mike is a very private person so I had to convince him to let me set this up for him. Here are some details:

2 years ago, after a terrible bout with a sore throat and sinus problems, Mike was referred to an ENT. They found stage 3 cancer at the base of his tongue. He was referred to an oncologist and radiologist who confirmed squamous cell oropharyngeal cancer. This cancer has a high success rate but is a brutal treatment due to destroying healthy cells as well as the unhealthy ones. Over several months of treatment Mike had 7 chemo treatments and 37 radiation treatments. Needless to say the side effects were terrible. His quality of life plummeted:

decreased ability to swallow, lost all taste of food, salivary glands stopped working and teeth have totally been destroyed. There are more details but you get the gist!

Needless to say, his energy has deteriorated with lack of sleep due to being so uncomfortable, weak and just feeling so bad. He has been able to keep his current business going but has not been able to promote new business because of his health, and Covid during this time did not help! Mike is owner-operator of a website design business called Successful Online Stores.

The good news is, Mike is cancer free! The main challenge now in order to build his business back, is to get his teeth and oral health repaired so he can get past all of this. I am asking first of all, for God’s prayer warriors to pray for complete healing for Mike, his dental procedures to give him back his quality of life and for God to bless his business beyond more than Mike could ever imagine. 2023 is going to be his year!
