My Name Is Tamiko Patterson, A Past Kidney Dialysis Patient, A Receiver Of Gift Necessities From "The Lights Of Love, Inc.", And Currently A Post Kidney Transplant Recipient. I've Experienced The Many Physical & Mental Challenges Of Kidney Failure, Kidney Dialysis, And Kidney Transplants For Over 26 Years. In And Out Of Hospitals, In And Out Of Doctors Appointments, Kidney Dialysis Three Times A Week Every Week, Prescription Medications Along With Over The Counter Medications. It's Very Easy For Me To Explain, But Not Easy For Those That Aren't Kidney Dialysis & Transplants Patients, To Fully Understand The Innerness Of The Different Stages That Has To Be Endured For A Chance Of Continuance Of Life.

 

The Lights Of Love, Inc. Was Initially Created By Ms. Vanessa Darby And Is Affiliated With Frensenius Kidney Care Beatties Ford Center 1534N. Hoskins Rd. Charlotte, NC 28216 And Frensenius Kidney Care Southeast Mecklenburg, 10501 Centrum Parkway, Pineville, NC 28134. Ms. Darby Has Been A Kidney Dialysis Patient Herself For Over 19 Years, And Established The Non-Profit Organization In 2015. Since Then, Ms. Darby Has Genuinely Been A Blessing To Many Kidney Dialysis Patients, By Making Numerous Calls And Visits Over The Years, To Receive Monetary & Material Donations From Individuals & Various Businesses.

 

The Lights Of Love, Inc. Includes Volunteers That Participate On A Regular Basis. Those Volunteers Are Yasmin Darby-Willis, Myself (Tamiko Patterson), Sylvia Grier, Brenda Haskell, Mary Zimmerman, And Sherry Ashford. As We Recognized A Need To Uplift The Morale Of Our Fellow Patients And Ourselves, We Are A Small Group In Number. Needing Assistance In Serving The Patients Who Would Benefit Greatly from Your Generosity And Kindness. Our Celebration Events Include Valentine's Day In February, Easter/Passover In April, It's Fall Y'all In September, Christmas/Hanukkah In December, And Other Various Occasions Of Need In Between. We Will Be Incredibily Grateful For Your Contributions And Expressions Of Care, As We Endeavor To Make These Events Joyous Occasions For Every Kidney Patient At Our Centers.
