Be a Giver for my Liver

Hello my name is Stephanie and I am single mother in need of a liver transplant. Im 47 years old and I just found out that about 80% of my liver is destroyed by cirrhosis. The weird thing is that I don’t even drink. I was told that the remaining part of my liver will not last me more than 2 years. This is a fight that I have to win especially since my daughters’ father died over a year ago. I have 3 children and 2 of them are in high school. Dying is not an option for me.

Im a preschool teacher and absolutely love what I do but financially expenses are very tight and my income isn’t enough. This is an added expense that we obviously were not planning for. And before the question gets asked, NO…I had no idea until a little over a month ago that my liver was having issues. I never even got jaundice. So here we are.

This money will cover any Dr. visits, upcoming copayments for tests, hospital stays and finally living expenses after I have the transplant. I’ve spoken with my case manager and this is a good estimate of what I should plan for but there may be added expenses before and/or after the transplant.
