Be a Hero for Blue: Life-Saving Treatment
Donation protected
I’ll cut to the chase, because it’s a very bad situation. Blue the Balinese needs us. Her owners are my close friends who are too overwhelmed to even know where to begin to ask for help, so I am stepping in. On New Year’s Day, Blue had her kittens and something went wrong. She is going septic, and needs a blood transfusion to stabilize her so she can have surgery to remove her very infected uterus. Without this, she will die. The treatment is very advanced and costly, but it could save her life. The emergency vet requires the full estimate up front before they will save her life. Her owners thought that the only option was to put her to sleep, because that amount was 7K and like many of us, we just don’t have it all up front.
I just know that we can make this happen for Blue. I know that there are so many good people out there that will feel the same as me and will look into her eyes and say “we are saving you”
A very kind person, Heather, offered to temporarily loan us the funds so we can get her treatment started. She is at Med Vet in Michigan (the closest place that had the blood to save her) but this is a temporary loan. We need you all to be a hero for Blue.. and for us, too. Her owners and I will pay everything we can but are still very short on funds after a lot of bad luck and emergencies.
If you can’t donate much or none at all, please share.
Blue is so loved by not only her owners but myself as well. She is the sweetest cat you’ll ever meet. All the funds donated will be used to pay her costs.
