Hello friends and family-
I would first like to introduce who we are. Our names are Tammy and Terrence Main. We are the aunt and uncle of this amazing little girl we are going to tell you about.
On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, what was meant to be a normal pediatrician visit for our girl Reese for a lingering cough, ended up being a trip to Children's Hospital. With mommy, Sarah and daddy, Mark by her side and her favorite hairbrush in hand they left the pediatrician and headed to the hospital to receive some tests due to a critical low reading of her iron.
After a multitude of test, Sarah and Mark were informed that Reese has B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This being the cause of the lingering cold symptoms, low energy levels, low iron, poor appetite and overall discomfort for our normally happy, energetic girl.
In this almost week stay at Children's, Reese has received several transfusions that have helped immensely and has started phase 1 of her chemo treatment on November 21, 2024.
Doctors are hopeful of the outcome and with the aggressive plan of action in place, are confident that our girl will be the Reese cup we know she can be.
This chapter in the Reese story will be a long and hard to read one. Not just for her, but for Sarah and Mark as well.
Life has a way of throwing unexpected things at you and although the plan is in place, there are going to be many set backs not just medically, but financial as well. With hospital stays, day to day bills, and just simply put....life.
Sarah and Mark as well as the entire Reese Army are forever grateful for all of your positive thoughts, love, phone calls, donations, text messages.
If you are not able to donate, please simply share to help our most precious ones out.
Thank you so much for all of your consideration!
Much love-
Aunt Tammy and Funkle Terrence
