My name is Tony Mikel —
i’m in the middle of training for my first marathon! I want to pair this special time in my life with a special cause. I am fundraising for an extremely important non-profit called To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA). TWLOHA is a non-profit movement dedicated to finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury & suicide. In 2018, I attempted suicide. I was struggling with addiction, alcohol abuse & depression. I used the TWLOHA crisis line to find help (therapy, psychiatrist, counseling). I am a living testimony to what TWLOHA can do to help people struggling like I was. It’s so important to me to help people out in the ways that I needed help. I’m running this marathon to remember the journey I’ve been on & to remind people out there that you can do anything if you make the beautiful decision to be alive tomorrow. My fundraising goal is $2,620 but I hope to surpass that. Please donate in my name for TWLOHA & share this everywhere you can. Thanks
