Be Apart Of Ashley’s Fearless Fight

Hi, My name is Madison Long I and I’m fundraising for my mother Ashley Bailey Long. I’m raising money due to medical expenses. This is important to me because watching my Mother struggle physically, mentally, and emotionally everyday is one of the hardest things to watch. Ashley is a person you meet and never forget. Ashely is such a good mother to her two daughters and wife to her husband Zack provides each of us with unconditional love and support. Ashley was respiratory therapist for 16 years. Watching Ashley’s Patience, Flexibility, Communication, Consistency, Empowerment, Nurturing, and Empathy with all her patients was incredible. Ashley was taken out of work at the age of 37, doing what she truly loved, which was helping others. Ashley had a spinal tape that went wrong and from there she has a list of health issues she goes to Duke for treatment. My mother and love ones have had to learn a new way of life. With her physical pain she feels daily she’s also fighting with mental health, anxiety and depression. Ashley recently was in the hospital due to experiencing bad headaches, fainting, seizures, low blood pressure, heart rate bottomed out, and unconscious. As her daughter when I was holding her hand in the hospital and I thought I would never get to hear her say “I love you Madi”again. With Gods hands over her during that night a miracle happened and she was conscious and stable the next morning. Ashley has been experiencing memory loss and short term memory ever since she was in the hospital. Ashley and close loved ones are waiting to hear back for a EEG of the brain test appointment.
