Hi, my name is Alyssa, I have been Marina’s

friend since college. We met and we instantly

knew we had to best friends. Specially when she took a line drive right to her face and didn’t cry I needed someone strong like that in my life!

Marina is one of the strongest people I know

especially right now!

Marina has been fighting a rare disease called

Guillain-Barre Syndrome. (GBS) is a rare

neurological disorder in which the body’s

immune system attacks parts of her nervous

system. GBS can range from a very mild case but in Marina’s case she wasn’t that fortunate. This

all came on so fast for Marina & her family.

Marina is now struggling to breathe on her own but as all of us know she is going to fight this.

ALL OF THIS and come out stronger then ever!

Marina has been in the hospital since May 27.

Marina has insurance but will have to pay a good chunk.

So please join to help this amazing family and my best friend during this terrible time!
