Be Newman's Hero: Aid Courtney's Dog

I'm fundraising for my BF Courtney's BFF Newman. Newman hurt himself very badly when trying to jump a fence as he had PTSD after the Fourth of July fireworks. His two back legs got caught up in a chain-linked fence and were cut very badly. He has been treated by a vet but sadly things have gotten much worse. The cuts on one of his legs have become extremely infected with necrosis gangrene and he now has to go through several procedures to cure his leg.

Courtney is the biggest animal lover on the planet. She adopted Newman from Furever Angels Animal Rescue three years ago when Newman came into the rescue. He had been found in a ditch in a rural county by a mailman and weighed only 28 pounds with a broken leg and was near death! When Courtney looked into Newman's big blue eyes, she knew she had to adopt him. Courtney nourished him back to health and helped him gain people's trust again.

Courtney has the biggest heart and always does things for others. Newman's vet bills are estimated to be over $5,000 and Courtney has to take off work for at least three weeks to monitor Newman and take him to the vet every two days for wound care. Courtney is a "single dog mom." She has no one else to fall back on.

This is where we can all pitch in! Let's catch Courtney from falling and help her with Newman's vet bills. Sometimes it truly takes a village and let's be that village for Courtney and Newman!
