Hi, I'm Madeline Rooks, an award-winning indie filmmaker, and I'm producing my next short film: The Process.
The Process explores the mental breakdown of a black man processing grief as he battles alcoholism.
This concept was pitched by my friends, Dionte Elliott and Christopher Jackson. They wanted to write/direct a film that discusses mental health and the toll it takes on someone struggling with grief and guilt.
I'm reaching out to you, my community, to include you in the filmmaking process! I'd like to provide the opportunity through our incentives to include you in producing this short film.
The donations will fund meals for all of our hardworking crew, props to use for the set, and pay for editing.
