STORY TIME:

My name is Aurora, and I'm an independent singer/songwriter and pianist based in the UK. I've been performing, learning, making, and writing music for years, and I'm not sure I can do anything else!

Music has been a constant source of solace for me over the years, serving as a profound means of self-expression. Sometimes, words alone cannot fully capture my emotions, and for that, I am immensely grateful to have the opportunity to write songs, sing them, and play them. Music truly is a gift!

I am here today as an independent artist currently in the process of finishing my new album. I must confess: I am genuinely disheartened and a bit disappointed by the music industry. For me, music holds the power to enhance people's lives, yet the contracts I have received fail to prioritise this aspect or the deeper message behind the music. Instead, they focus solely on selling, numbers, image, beauty, and marketing.

As an independent artist, it is paramount to me to maintain control over my music and uphold my artistic integrity. I am committed to remaining true to myself and my artistic vision, continuing to create music that resonates with both myself and my audience, without compromising my principles.

While all the songs on my album are written, performed, and recorded by me, I am grateful to have an incredible team supporting me every step of the way.
