Rainbow Collective for Change is a grassroots effort that builds safe and equitable spaces for LGBTQ+ and gender diverse children and families and aims to raise a generation of LGBTQ+ and Gender Inclusive and anti-racist humans.

Some of their efforts include:
  • Rainbow Kits for preschool and elementary school classrooms with 11 LGBTQ and Gender Inclusive books, 4 LGBTQ and Gender Inclusive toys, lessons, and more.
  • Rainbow Play Dates for LGBTQ families to connect and for children to see other families like theirs
  • Rainbow Story Times for all families to listen to diverse children's books and participate in activities around themes such as "Be Who You Are," "Love Makes a Family," and "You are the Boss of Your Body."
  • RCC also leads policy advocacy efforts with families to advocate for safe and inclusive spaces and schools for their children.

Rainbow Collective for Change is in the process of getting fiscal sponsorship and eventually non-profit status. In the meantime, we have some immediate events and community actions that could use your help! Please consider being part of our Rainbow Collective for Change with whatever size donation you can offer!

Your donation will fund the following upcoming activities:
1. Rainbow Collection for Change needs a website and we would love to work with a local LGBTQ and/or BIPOC person to get this done!
2. Coffee and materials for our regular Rainbow Play Dates.
3. Build and Stock a Mobile Rainbow Library - stocked with LGBTQ and Gender Inclusive children's books available to borrow at any of our events.
