Many of you will recall in 2018 JustAPennyPlease.org WALKED across America. Our goal was to raise enough money to open a Pet-Friendly shelter at the Verde Valley Sanctuary, in Cottonwood, AZ.

The good news – because of 1000’s of supporters like you, we were able to open the only Pet-Friendly shelter for abused kids in Northern Arizona.

The bad news – it’s been occupied EVERY day and night since March 2019.

When the WALK was completed, I truly thought we had made a difference, perhaps we did. However, COVID hit, schools closed and child abuse has escalated dramatically. The true pandemic in America is Domestic Violence and Child Abuse. Just A Penny Please is doing it again, creating another Pet-Friendly home for abused kids and their moms.

My name is Michael Capozzoli or "Cappi". On February 1, 2018. I began WALKING from California to Boston...Fenway Park. On September 24, 2018 JustAPennyPlease org completed 3280 miles- 12 States 235 Days-

The purpose of this WALK is to raise $250,000. Our mission is to build a pet-friendly safe house for abused kids with pets. Most shelters DO NOT allow pets in the shelters.
