Be there for Yacoub

Long time Hoover substitute teacher Yacoub Yacoub's cancer has returned, and this time circumstances will not permit him to work while going through chemo as he did the last time.  As a substitute, he does not have paid leave, or access to the catastrophic leave bank.  His prognosis is positive, he's in good spirits, and is feeling pretty well, but is very concerned about not being able to earn money.  If you know Yacoub, you know he is a wonderful man, and he has probably subbed for you many times.  Yacoub loves Hoover and our students and I consider him an honorary Cardinal.  Yacoub has been there for so many of us so many times, so please join me and Mr. Michener in showing our Cardinal PRIDE and be there for Yacoub. 
We'll keep this fund raiser open through the month of November.  Please give what you can, as soon as you can, to help take the worry of financial uncertainty off of his plate while he tries to get well and back to work for us.
