Be Unique - Stop Teen Violence

My name is Angelina Ford and I had the honor of being the mother to a gifted, beautiful and ambitious daughter, Danyna Unique. She was the young lady who abruptly lost her life at Fitzgerald High School on September 12, 2018 when she was stabbed by a fellow student. Who could imagine their daughter who had limitless potential would be the worldwide headline to something so heinous.
I would like to share with the world how Danyna was uniquely special that the people closest to her is already aware of. She was naturally beautiful and she took great pride in that fact as you may see. She was fun, talented and very intelligent. During the progression of her school years she was involved in many extracurriculars such as:
*Tennis *Colorguard *Robotics *Multicultural Club *Swag *GOP *National Honor Society *Cross Country
and those are just for the most recent school year. On top of participating in everything she could get me to agree to she still managed to bring home a 4.2 GPA. That's including her AP classes and Honor classes. She loved to help and she routinely volunteered. She was a vegan who exercised twice a day, once in the morning and before going to bed.
I could go on forever about how superb and compassionate my daughter Danyna was. That's why she deserves to never be forgotten.
I have created this fundraiser to focus on bringing awareness to teen violence amongst themselves. We need our teens to get serious about their future because they are the torch carriers of tomorrow. We need them as we continue to age to create a better society than the one before. Everything is about improvement and we can't let them be their own demise.
My goal for this fundraiser is to raise $1000 by the 11th of September in order to commemorate her 1 year anniversary with a Stop Teen Violence Picnic. I can't begin to explain how important this is because not only does this mark her 1 year anniversary, she would have turned 18 this coming November. We need food, decorations, supplies for the posters, tables and chairs as well as a DJ and photographer.
Her life was not supposed to end like this. What mother could imagine this but no one can pick the time nor place. All I can do now is make sure my daughter, who was beautiful inside and out, life is remembered and celebrated. She was a joy and it was a pleasure being her mother.
My ultimate goal is to create a non profit in Danyna's honor which focus on bringing awareness to teen violence in our community.
