Help us fight against revenge porn

Hi, We are a group of victims determined to fight back against Revenge porn and image abuse- when people anonymously post nude or pornographic photos without the subjects permission in order to humiliate, shame or blackmail them. It's a disgusting practice, and victims often find themselves with little no legal recourse or options to have their photo removed. The websites dedicated to NCP also turn a blind eye to child pornography, rape and theft. The entire business model of these sites is despicable, and they have victimized thousands of women worldwide since its inception. The subjects often face ongoing struggles due to having their private images shared online- many victims experience stalking, harassment, and blackmail, as well as having their personal and professional reputations ruined.
BADASS works hard, providing victims with resources to have their photos removed, legal resources to discuss options for prosecution, as well as help handling the emotional aftermath of having their personal photos and information posted maliciously. We have also helped shut down a number of platforms dedicated to sharing images without consent, as well as worked to educate countless members of the public about this horrific form of abuse, and teach them how to prevent becoming a victim by protecting their data online. We are dedicated to putting stronger laws in place to deter the behavior, and have developed several tech tools to aid victims in their personal battles.
In 18 months, BADASSA has helped thousands of victims of image abuse, at no cost to them. We’ve assisted police in investigations leading to dozens of arrests, and connected to major social media platforms to help them prevent non consensual pornographers from taking place on their platforms. We’ve come a long way, but the battle is far from over. We need your help to keep our services available to anyone who needs them, and to end revenge porn!
About us: We are the Battling Against Demeaning and Abusive Selfie Sharing- or, as we prefer, BADASS. We are a group of victims brought together by our desire to fight back against Non Consensual pornography, as well as those posting it, and the sites that cater to the practice. This form of abuse relies on shame and humiliation to thrive- many victims are too afraid of the posted photos being seen by their families or loved ones to seek recourse- and we refuse to be shamed into submission. We have created a safe space free from judgement, and rather than feel helpless, we take an active role in fighting back against revenge pornography and illegal photo sharing and hosting. We also take the time to monitor the sites, and identify and notify victims. We believe that there is power in numbers, and that by working together, we can make a difference.
