Hey all,
for those of you who don't know our story, I will give a brief synopsis. On September 28th, 2022 Beach Baptist lost everything in our possession; the buildings, files, offerings, records, etc.
From September 28,2022 - June 6th 2023, we leased our land to FEMA at no cost, and served 3 meals a day in an outdoor kitchen.
From June 6th - the present we have been operating out of a 40' x 100' tent for both worship gatherings and a 5 day a week shopping market for hurricane survivors on Fort Myers Beach.
The process of rebuilding our church and meeting in it regularly has had a time stamp of up to 2 years. Until then, we will still be operating in disaster mode in an effort to not only serve our communities physical needs, but fulfill the spiritual needs of anybody who comes onto our campus.
With the money we hope to raise through this Go Fund Me we will do the following;
- Rent a more sustainable structure for worship services and food market thought out the week.
- Build a bathroom trailer with two stalls in exchange of the porta potties we have now.
- Interior Design of new building as ground work begins.
