Beacon of Light Teen Expo and Homeless Assistance

More information about Bright Lights Crossing Borders, Inc.: Assistance provided in our local community abroad to abused, neglected, abandoned, and orphaned children and the elderly by providing them with some of the basic daily needs such as toiletries, clothing, etc. We assist high school students by allowing them to give back by assisting us with preparations with planned projects and they can earn community service hours required for high school graduation. During times of disasters, ie. hurricanes, fire, etc. we provide aid to those affected.

This fundraiser is being held for the Teen Expo and assistance that is provided to the Homeless.

We will be having a Teen Expo on April 6, 2024, at the Samuel Delevoe Park Meeting Room in Fort Lauderdale, FL for students between the ages of 13-17 years old. They will be presented with information on Mentoring, Safe Internet and Social Media usage, etc. We will also be distributing to the teens in attendance clothing, toiletries, etc. Lunch will be provided. Part of the funds raised will be used to purchase some of the clothing and toiletries needed to distribute to the students in attendance.

The additional funds raised are also needed to provide household cleaning supplies and small household items in response to the requests that we get from various community and social agencies for their clients who were homeless and have now been placed into their own homes with no supplies (food, toiletries, household items (dishes, pots, pans, etc), and cleaning supplies.
