Bean's new legs
If you've met Bean, you'll know that he is the sweetest and most loving puppy. Unfortunately, he was born with a genetic deformity in his back legs which is debilitating. If left untreated, he will develop spinal issues and be in pain.
He needs a specialist surgery to rebuild his back legs. The surgery involves a 3D scan, a computer simulation of the surgery and metal plates grafted onto his back legs. He will need over 3 months of recovery and rest, and it will be a long journey until he gets to run across grass again. I do have insurance, but it is not enough to cover the high cost of the surgery.
The condition is called Pes Varus, and more details on it can be found here: https://www.dachshundhealth.org.uk/pes-varus
This surgery is going to cost a lot. It's going to take all my life savings and still more, I am doing everything I can to save and sell what I have. But I am humbly asking for support to help Bean and get him happy and healthy as soon as I can.
Please consider donating, anything and everything is so deeply appreciated.
