Spare a razor, Save A Warrior

Tax deductible
Have you ever wondered how to reach out and help a Veteran suffering from suicidal thoughts? Have you ever wondered what to say to someone struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder? Do you have someone in your life afraid to even admit they have PTSD?

Thousands of people have felt the same way and that’s why Jake Clark created Save A Warrior.
The total number of service members who have died in the line of duty since 9/11 is 6,753. More than 8,000 veterans per year take their own lives.

With those facts alone, we have work to do and we need YOUR help to do it.

Men set aside their razors for the month of "Movember" to raise awareness for male related cancer. Awareness is great but we need to take ACTION to stop it from happening. That’s where you and Save A Warrior come together.

We want you to share the pictures of your mustaches and beards throughout the month of Movember. We will post updated pictures of the best facial hair on this GoFundMe link. At the end of the month we will crown a winner!!

Please email pictures through the GoFundMe site.

About the Save A Warrior program:

We run what are called cohorts all around the country for active duty military, veterans, and first responders who are struggling with Post-Tramatic Stress, anxiety, depression and suicidal ideation.

During these cohorts we bring 10-15 attendees together who have derived great strength to defend our country by falling in line. Upon their transition from the service, the isolation of standing out or having no line to fall in, shakes many to the core. This time of transition challenges their sense of identity; of the person they were trained to be and the warrior that they have always been. Our men and women won’t ask you for help and that’s why we are doing it for them. It’s why we NEED to help them even more.

What they will experience at the cohort because of your donation is a life changing transformation. Your donation will save a warriors life.

Meet some of the shepherds. They are still doing their own bucket work in life. They have all gone through Cohorts remembering the warriors they have always been. Their mission in life is to pay it forward.

At this Cohort, warriors will talk about things they won’t share with their family or friends. They will have to face themselves, which at times is the hardest part. This is a true hero’s journey and one that needs to be taken in order to LIVE a warriors life.

They will learn how to be attune with themselves through meditation.

They will go through Equine Therapy for emotional growth, face their fears climbing poles only to jump leaving behind their past.

They will go through group sessions together and have non-invasive tests of their thoughts evaluated by a depth psychologist Ph.D., helping them do their "soul" work. They walk in one way and come out a different person.

Our goal at SAW is to get warriors back in the fight, for life. We can’t do it alone though, we need your help.

Our goal is to raise enough for an entire 12 warrior Cohort, in Malibu CA. We need $39,600.00 in order to do so. We are a 501(c)3, non-profit with zero funding from the federal government which is why we need your help. Can we raise $1,320.00 every day in the month of November to save our warriors? I know we can however, not alone. We need you.

Please share this with the hashtag #TeamSave. Please be apart of our team to complete this mission. No amount of donation is too small. If you have a dollar to give or even $20.00, it’s going towards helping a warrior see his TRUE reflection in the mirror again. It’s helping him stay alive.
