Bearing Bracken Babies

Before Ben and I were married, I was diagnosed with endometriosis.

I had surgery for my endometriosis in both 2018 and 2019.

Ben and I were married on September 4, 2020.

In the summer of 2021, we decided to start trying to grow our family.

After about six months of trying to conceive, my doctor recommended

that we start doing fertility treatments due to my endometriosis diagnosis.

In March of 2022, after six months of my fertility treatments, I had my third surgery for my endometriosis with the hope that this would improve the likelihood of us getting pregnant. After the surgery, we

continued the fertility treatments for a few months before we started to do more in-depth fertility testing.

In Summer of 2022, we were given the news that we would not be able

to have biological children. This came as a shock to us and our families. We started asking God what this meant for us and how we would grow our family.

While I was having dinner with a friend from our bible study, she introduced me to the idea of embryo adoption. I went home that night, told Ben about it, and we started our research. About a month or so

later, we both felt like the Lord was leading us down a path of embryo adoption.

We are excited to announce that we are working with Nightlight Christian

Adoptions through their Snowflakes program to adopt our children. We are looking forward to the journey ahead of us.
