Beasley Kidney Transplant Fund

In October 2015 my family was made aware that my husband and high school sweetheart, Malcolm Beasley would need a kidney transplant. Through diligence and prayer we found out that I was a match to be a donor for him (see attached photo). Of course this was only the beginning of the journey. After much many tests, meetings, and doctor's appointments we were finally scheduled for surgery coming up in July 2016. While very happy that our prayers have been answered we still have to acknowledge that the surgery itself will require me and Malcolm to be incapacitated for a while. And of course that brings another level of concern as we have three children to provide for. While understanding there are many pressing needs in our community, our pride will not win, so we acknowledge that we will need help. We have tried to prepare for this financial burden as much as one possibly can but there will still be many expenses outside of the thousands already incurred. Our goal by no means will cover the entire cost associated with the transplant but we approached the goal modestly out of respect for everything going on in our community. Any assistance would be appreciated in covering the expenses not covered by insurance including deductibles, hotel and travel, food, and other living expenses that will exceed our current resources while we both are off work recovering.
