Beat Keepers: Women With Rhythm!

Women play drums, too!
That’s the premise behind a new documentary about female drummers in the U.S. and Canada. The brainchild of Ontario-based drummer Cindy Goldberg, “Beat Keepers: Women With Rhythm!” is designed to showcase amateur and professional female percussionists – from women who started playing in their grade school stage or marching bands to those who began playing in church or with cover bands later in life to hear directly from the women who play about why they enjoy playing as much as they do.
The funds raised will help offset production and travel costs associated with interviewing female drummers and getting the documentary shot and edited.
The target completion date is July 2019. We hope to get the project spit-shined and polished as soon as we can so we can help spread the word about the amazing world of XX chromosome drummers.
We thank you in advance for your support.
