Beating Cancer 1 Step at a Time

Hi my name is Alix I’m one of Kayla’s best friends. She is only 28 and has been battling breast cancer since I met her and she is on her finally stages of recovery!! It has been a hard long journey. She is ready to be cancer free and back to normal. Yesterday she was in a 14 hour surgery that won’t allow her to work or provide for her family for over 7 weeks.she will need help to pay her rent and medical bills. The surgery was called Bilateral Pr Breast Reconstruction with a free flap repair of nerve with nerve allograft for creation of sensate flaps x2. The doctor told us she would be done by 3pm …. 3pm came and went and we didn’t hear anything until 830pm!!! The doctor called and said There’s a complication but she’s done. Receiving blood and then she’ll be moved to recovery. Her family misses her and wants her home to heal and rest. She will have to stay in the hospital until Friday or Saturday before her 7 weeks at home healing starts. If we could help her and her family get through this hard time of recovery with as less financial stress as possible would be amazing. Please let help this beautiful young mama and her family stay afloat while she is battling the last stages of her recovery!!❤️‍
