More information about Joshua Tree Cultural Preservation Center: Joshua Tree Cultural Preservation Center is an organization formed to provide an outlet for the artists, musicians and cultural wave-makers of this unique high desert community at the edge of Joshua Tree National Park, mainly through events presented at our home base, the Beatnik Lounge. The Beatnik is a place, supported by the community, which provides a space for cutting edge art, emerging songwriters, 'experimental' avant-garde musicians/composers, poets, and a wide variety of progressive 'happenings.'
