Grandmas Burial and Funeral Costs (Covid-19 Loss)
Donation protected
In the midst of this pandemic, my family and I lost a beautiful soul - our grandmother (our father's mother). She was diagnosed with Covid-19 the week of April 20th, and passed on April 24, 2020. She meant a lot to my family and I, and we were crushed to hear of the news, especially because none of us were able to be there with her in those final moments due to her diagnosis. But we know that our Father in Heaven always has a plan in all He does, and that her spirit is resting with Him in paradise. We are thankful she was even able to see 94 years of life, and her great grandchildren as well.
However now, due to the increasing amount of individuals diagnosed with Covid-19, and less and less space being available in the hospitals, we were told we only had 2 weeks to claim her body. Though understandable as more space is needed to care for those with the virus, it has become a heavier burden on our family due to the cost of placing her body in a morgue, as well as preparing for her funeral when this pandemic comes to an end.
We are looking for your help in this trying time. We understand many people aren't able to work, or may not have the financial means to contribute, but any bit helps. Our primary concern is claiming her body and placing it in a better place until we sort out the funeral portion of this ordeal. As much as we would like more time to mourn, we have to move fast.
If you are unable to contribute, simply sharing this GoFundMe link goes a long way. Thank you to any help you are able to offer!
