Beattie Elementary Heart Sculpture

Beattie Elementary in Lincoln, Nebraska has worked diligently over the past 5 years to renovate our amazing outdoor classroom. In 2016, we were successful in raising funds for a new walking track around our playground. This provided much needed access for students with disabilities as well as providing for easy exercise for all students when the playground is muddy. We are working as a community to plant native trees and plants around the walking track. But, the project is still not complete. We want our playground and garden areas to be a welcoming place for ALL! The goal of this campaign is to raise funds to purchase a "Nebraska by Heart" Sculpture to be placed at the entrance to our playground.
