Jockeys Fighting For their Mate

Two larrikin jockeys Jake Pracey Holmes and Aaron Sweeney will be putting their bodies on the line in a boxing match. The boys clash on the undercard at The Amaroo Hotel fight night on Friday 9th June 2023 in an atemp to raise funds for their mate Beau Agland.

The boys are training hard for this bout and are taking it very seriously. After spending his childhood in Warwick Farm Beau beau become a valuable Trackwork rider there and was popular among many trainers for his horsemanship skills. Beau teamed up with a young Joe Pride horse named Terravista and was his regular rider during his multiple group winning career which earn him the title of “Worlds Best Sprinter” in 2014. Beau enjoyed riding for all trainers namely Warwick farm legends David Mills, Graham Brown and Bruce Cross. Beau’s career ended in 2021 after a track work fall left him a paraplegic.
