Beau and Amanda relief fund

As most of you know Beau is a very healthy, hard-working, family man. Sunday, August 5th Beau started experiencing flu/covid symptoms, fever, headaches, fatigue, and some nasuea. He was brought to urgent care Monday August 6th, tested him for flu/covid, both negative. Doctors thought that it was just too early to test, sent us home and told Amanda to test him Tuesday evening, which she did, test was negative. Early in the morning Wednesday Amanda brought Beau to the ER department, they again tested him for Covid/Flu and Strep, drew blood, nothing alarming came back so they told us more than likely a virus he needed to let run its course. Thursday night, Beau developed a rash on his face, so Amanda immediately drove him to a the ER at Ochsner main campus, Doctors there again tested him for all of the above, all negative. The blood work showed some things that the ER doctor was concerned about, she told us that she was sending a referral to the infectious disease doctor to follow up with them first thing in the morning. All the while Beaus symptoms are progressing. Amanda made Beau an appt for Friday morning, where they reviewed his blood work from the last ER visit and drew more blood. Results came in Friday afternoon and Amanda received a phone call from the doctor to have Beau admitted that his liver blood work was extremely alarming and he needed to be monitored closely. Abdonimal scans and ultrasounds were done upon their arrival, showing enlarged spleen, liver, and pancreas. Since then Amanda and Beau have been at Oschner main campus. His symptoms have continued since they have been there, and some new ones have arised as well. They have since seen a team of liver specialists, Infectious disease doctors and internists, plus they are consulting with other doctors from different fields. Beau has had multiple CT scans and an abundance of blood tests, while they have ruled out things, we still have no answers of what is going on with him. Beau's blood work has been all out of wack, while some of his levels improve, others are still alarming. He has good moments, which we are super thankful for. Amanda has not left his side, and continues to support him through this very difficult time of the unknown. The road to recovery will be a long one due to the damage to his organs. If you would like to help with the financial burden, any donation through gofundme will be greatly appreciated. All funds raised will go to directly to Beaus medical costs as well as costs related to him being out of work. On behalf of Beau, Amanda, their children, their family, and their closest friends, we appreciate the outpouring of love, prayers, and support shown over the past week and undoubtedly in the months to come.

Hi, my name is Torey Miller I am Amanda Dupuis sister. We are so grateful for all the prayers and support that so many have offered with helping to lift up Beau and Amanda in their time of need. While it’s so hard to wait, feeling like there is nothing else we can do to help, we would like to start a relief fund for additional expenses incurred at this time.
This is a great way to let Beau and Amanda know that we are all pulling together as a family and community in support of his full recovery. I pray that God will bless the gift and the giver!

Please share this post but more importantly, please continue to pray for a full recovery, as there is no gift greater than the power of prayer.
Thank you!
