Beau & Luke Duke

Hi my name is Dana Cunha and my husband Phil and I are fundraising for ADOPTION FEES for two 6 week old male puppies that are a “bonded pair” and need to stay together.

Our county requires approximately $120-$370 (fee depends on breed) for EACH puppy that is adopted out of Stanislaus county. Plus the cost of Licensing fee for Each puppy. Our goal is to raise a minimum of $500 dollars to able a loving family the ability to adopt these puppies and give them the life that they deserve.

My husband and I are fostering for the first time and so far the experience is wonderful. Don’t get me wrong, it’s ALOT of work but we are doing our best to give these puppies the best “puppy life” possible. I am scheduled to take both puppies to get their vaccinations every 2 weeks and they will be neutered once the shot cycle is complete within approx 6-8 weeks. Puppies will be ready to adopt once they are neutered.

Their back story… Both brothers were dumped off in our recent rain storm at the Stanislaus County Animal Shelter in Modesto Ca on Feb 5th 2024.

24 hours later the county sent out an Instagram stating they needed a Foster Parent to take both brothers and foster them at their home versus the Animal Shelter. They stated they would love for them to stay together.

FYI-We named them Beau & Luke Duke. After the Dukes Of Hazzards, one of my husbands favorite shows as a child❤️
