Beau Offutt

Hi everyone! My name is Paulie AKA Pookie, I’m Beau’s mom’s best friend. I’ve created this account on Beau’s behalf.

Beau is currently in the intensive care unit at the University of Louisville Hospital. He has sustained head trauma. At this point, we do not know the extent of his injuries. He is currently on a ventilator and has signs of paralyzes on the left side. Part of the skull has been removed to allow for swelling of the brain. In the coming days, we hope him to be strong enough to begin to breathe on his own. He is mostly sedated. However; when awake he is awake and able to write notes, nonverbal communication and the beginnings of verbal communication.

The family will need to cover Beau’s monthly household expenses, including his mortgage payment and the care of his dog, Audio. The additional financial and emotional strain on this family could not come at a more difficult time.
