Beau Place's family

Donation protected
Beau, Quinn and Mila relocated to Warrnambool with their mother to be closer to family in December 2021. With Beau's combined Intellectual Disability and Autism diagnoses, the care of these beautiful kids often requires extra hands.

Sadly, as they were beginning to find their feet in Warrnambool, these children were involved in a major car accident with a logging truck just outside of Mt Gambier.

Some of the injuries Beau sustained include an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), a broken femur, pelvis and facial fractures, along with multiple broken bones and significant psychological trauma for Mila and Quinn.

Beau’s ABI means the road ahead is long and uncertain, particularly when paired with his pre-existing diagnoses. His mother has been by his side at the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne since the 1st July while her family care for the girls in Warrnambool as they try to create a new normal.

The money raised will go towards providing these children with the tools and support they will need in their physical and emotional recovery. Please wrap your hearts around these children, and give if you can.
