Beautiful Angel - Ellie Paine
Beautiful Ellie sadly passed away following a tragic accident in November 2020. She had not long turned 16.
What happened is beyond comprehension and everyone is still in shock.
We saw numerous messages from people asking how they can help, so we created this campaign (with permission of course) to offer a place where messages of condolence could be left and donations to the charities of the services which helped, supported and cared for Ellie and her family following her accident, can be made.
If you would like to donate, simply click on the donate button and donate whatever you can. If you are not in a position to be able to donate you can still leave messages and comments for Jody, Mark, Dave and the rest of the family to read.
Any donations will be divided equally between the following charities:
Kings College Hospital
Relies on donations to fund new research, state-of-the-art equipment and the best patient care.
Abigails Footsteps
A child bereavement charity, providing support for bereaved parents and specialist bereavement training for healthcare professionals.
Rhys Daniels Trust
A UK registered charity that provides free 'Home from Home' accommodation at specialist children's hospitals across the UK.
Memory Makers
Experts in premium hand foot casts, imprints, outprints for all the family. Baby keepsakes and gifts, family sets and memorial range.
4Louis
UK charity that works across the country to support anyone affected by miscarriage, stillbirth and the death of a baby or child.
The Aspinall Foundation

Below is the heartbreaking post from her mum, Jody:
As many of you are now aware, our beautiful, kind hearted, spirited, princess Ellie
is now a beautiful angel in the sky. We are beyond broken and cannot describe the pain we are all in.
On Sunday evening, Ellie was hit by a car whilst running. She was immediately unconscious and was taken straight to Kings College hospital. She was placed in a coma while her injuries were treated. We held her hand for days as our brave daughter battled to survive. We played her messages from friends and family, laughed about our stories, sang songs and prayed so very hard. Until the news came that the injuries where just too big to mend. No more fixing with cuddles, kisses, plasters or glue for my baby girl.
So I bathed her, washed and dried her hair, we painted her nails and then dressed her ready for bed.
We were then very blessed to spend some time with her as a family. Her siblings all by her side. We snuggled up in bed and I held her until she fell asleep in my arms for the last time. Her brother, Dad and stepdad all there to hold her hands too while she passed.
Ellie’s zest for life, her love for the world and it’s creatures, her artistic nature and unconditional love for her friends and family are what will get us all through this difficult time.
May you find your spirit guide baby girl. Until we can hold you tight once more, shine bright and know that you were, and always will be, loved so very ,very deeply sweetheart xx
