Our Beautiful Aliyah

This fundraiser is to help support Jess & Josh in anyway possible as they live through every parents worst nightmare.

On Friday the 28th of June, Aliyah, their 3 year old daughter went in to hospital for a tonsillectomy, a common surgical procedure which went well and she was discharged the following day.

On Monday the 1st of July, Jess took Aliyah to ED at PCH with flu like symptoms and a fever, where she was then admitted and diagnosed with Influenza A.

They were discharged home on the afternoon of Wednesday the 3rd of July.

Early Thursday morning the 4th of July, Aliyah awoke having a medical episode, the ambulance was called and CPR was performed on Aliyah for an extended period of time.

She was rushed to hospital and placed in a Coma.

She was then on life support in the Paediatric Critical Care Unit at Perth Children’s Hospital.

As of the night of Saturday the 6th of July, brain scans and an EEG have found there was no brain activity now.

Sunday morning, the 7th of July 2024, Aliyah gained her wings.

Aliyah was beautiful, smart, cheeky and so full of life.

She made everyone laugh and lit up the room.

Her beautiful face will forever be etched in our memories.

We can’t change what has happened or take away their pain, but we want to help where we can during this devastating time.

Anything you can contribute, big or small, it all helps.

It means it is more time they will have to grieve without rushing back to work.

It will also help them have more time to spend together & with their loved ones and cover funeral costs.

Jess is a small business owner and Josh a contractor, meaning there are no paid personal leave days.

Jess and Josh have a mortgage and of course the usual bills but they also have a beautiful 1yr old boy, Elijah, to look after aswell.
