Beautiful little Caitlin needs your help

My little niece Caitlin is the most beautiful, kindhearted and caring child. She loves music, animals, especially the family dog, Bella. She also loves being around people especially her family and friends.

on February 18th, 2021, three days before her 8th birthday, Caitlin was diagnosed with a brain tumor. This was devastating news for her parents and siblings.

Caitlin is the second youngest of five children, having one brother and three sisters. She celebrated her eighth birthday in Temple street hospital in Dublin, Ireland, with family and friends and a few days later underwent the first of three major surgeries in the attempt to remove the tumor.

After six weeks in Temple Street Hospital she travelled to Essen, Germany for six weeks of proton Radiotherapy followed by nine months of Chemotherapy in Our Lady’s Children's Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Caitlin is now nine years old and is a very outgoing bubbly child. Her high spirited personality has helped her through all the hard times and treatment she has undergone.

An MRI scan taken four months after the completion of treatment once again brought devastating news and Caitlin was given a terrible prognosis.

Caitlin’s parents and family researched the possibility of her being treated in America.

She was accepted for treatment in Houston, Texas where her treatment commenced on August 31st, 2022.

We need to raise funds for Caitlin’s treatment and we welcome all the help that people can offer.
