Becauze CIC - Coffee Van Fundraiser

Who are we

My name is Carlos, I'm the founder of Becauze and I'm going to be cycling across England for a week to raise money for my community interest company. I have spent over a decade working with many organisations helping young people and now I would like to help them further by starting my own organisation.

Also fundraising with me is Kim Breakspear who are cycling from John O' Groats to Lands End. This is the whole length of Great Britain between two extremities, in the northeast and southwest totaling 976 miles of cycling.

What we do
Becauze is a new community interest company dedicated to providing jobs, training and opportunities for young people in London.

What we would like to achieve
To launch the organisation we would like to start with a coffee van, which would create jobs and skills for young people.
Any profits generated from the coffee van would be put back into the organisation to fund projects such as:

• After school/homework clubs
•Sporting events
•Qualification and skills training courses leading to employment

We will also be selling branded merchandise to help raise additional funds.

Our main aim is to provide the tools for young people to stay in education and to get paid opportunities.

How can you help
The goal is to raise £6k to buy a van and refurbish it.

Any contributions no matter how small would help us reach our target.
