Becca and Chris (Stage 4 Cancer)

Update July 8, 2024: Thank you to everyone who is helping Chris and Bella through this difficult transition. As you know, Becca passed on June 22. This has been especially difficult for Bella, who greatly misses her mom.
At this time, Chris is coping with final expenses. Becca always wanted to go to the Florida Keys, but ran out of time. Becca expressed that she wanted her ashes put into the ocean. Therefore, Chris and Bella would like to take Becca's ashes to the Florida Keys on Becca's birthday in September. We are doing one final fundraising push to try to help them meet this goal.
Thank you for your support in helping Chris and Bella achieve this goal.
Update as of June 21, 2024: We are heartbroken. Hospice has been called, and Becca is in her final days. The chemo treatments caused numerous problems, including mini-strokes and congestive heart failure. The cancer advanced throughout her body. She is now surrounded by friends and family, with 24/7 hospice care.
Chris has been out of work for several weeks now, and we are preparing for final expenses. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Your kindness, love, and support have made a difference.
Update as of May 30, 2024: Becca has had a difficult month. Eating and movement are extremely difficult. She is also sleeping much more than before.
They met with the oncologist yesterday. The oncologist has concerns about possible brain metastases, as her vision/eyes have disturbances. A scan is scheduled. He has also recommended a feeding tube. Becca obviously is not thrilled with this idea.
The chemo has reduced her bone pain somewhat, but has caused numerous other problems. Her bone marrow is damaged, so her blood counts have dropped significantly. She is undergoing a 2nd blood transfusion today (she had one last week as well). In true Becca style, she wants to continue treatment and fight!
As far as finances, Chris will be completely out of funds after paying June rent tomorrow. May was a bad month (his semi broke down), and June is lining up to be even more challenging. It is nearly impossible for him to work right now, as the number of appointments for these scans, treatments, and transfusions is increasing. Any help to get them through this next month is greatly appreciated.
