Becky Allen Medical Fund

Hello friends and family of Becky Allen, my name is Paige Paisley and we are doing this fund raiser to help a community friend out in her time of financial medical need. Becky Allen is a strong community support person who has been there helping others in their time of need and now it is her in need of a helping hand. She would never ask but because of her medical situation right now she is unable to work not knowing if or when she might be able to return to work. Any finanical funds would be greatly appreciated as the costs are growing daily and as of yet no expected date for her to return home. Becky's family would like to update you on her medical journey as of now.

Hello Friends, thanks you so much for all the prayers, check-ins, and support for Becky during this time. To give some background to her health, she began feeling ill in early July with lower abdomen pain. After trying to eliminate possible issues that would improve her condition, Mom checked into the Billings Clinic on August 22nd. After a CT scan, blood work, and x-rays, she was given a prescription to see if she could fight the infection from home. A week later her condition worsened significantly. She checked into into the emergency room and was admitted on August 28th to Cody Regional Health. After numerous CTs, blood work, and a couple of rocky patches she was released to see if she could improve at home once again. No true diagnosis was given other than she may have some variation of Colitis (an infection of the colon). In another couple of weeks time, Becky was readmitted to the Powell Hospital on September 20th. More CT scans were taken which revealed the infection had spread to 3/4 of the colon. While in Powell she was also given two blood transfusions and transported to St Vincent's in Billings on September 24th. Biopsies from the colon didn't declare any specific diagnosis other than she still had some kind of Colitis or Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

She was released only to return to St Vincents on October 1st. She has been hospitalized since then. We unfortunately still do not have a diagnosis. Doctors are baffled at her condition and are looking at all kinds of possible illnesses, infections, and rare diseases. Needless to say, she has been through a lot, is extremely weak, and ready to feel better. We were asked to consider accepting a gofundme account and upon mention of it, Mom was thoroughly grateful to accept it.

With her not returning to work, her income has reduced significantly. If you feel led to help her by donating any funds we would greatly appreciate it. Funds will go to help with current medical expenses and especially future ones. We are hopeful for a diagnosis and a treatment plan soon.
