UPDATED: Becky Ayers’ Medical Expenses
Donation protected
Update: Becky’s surgery in September was successful. They did find a bit more cancer than anticipated; she is undergoing chemotherapy now and will have radiation treatment later for a full recovery. The chemo began in October and will continue into the new year; the radiation will occur late winter/early spring. Once those are complete she will need to finish her reconstructive surgery.
We realized recently that with the medical treatment continuing into 2024, her insurance will require new deductibles and out of pocket limits be met, before fully covering these expenses.
We are so grateful and overwhelmed with everyone’s generosity to date. However, if you did not have the opportunity to assist before and wish to do so now, we have raised the goal. Please feel no obligation to give. We continue to covet your prayers for Becky during this ongoing journey.

Original: Hi, our daughter, Becky, as many of you know, was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this Summer. And although, as her parents, we will be helping her with medical costs and living expenses while she is out of work, we wanted to give family and friends a vehicle by which to contribute as well. Our church family has already held one fundraiser which helped in a big way!
Becky has insurance but has a significant 'out of pocket' limit to cover. Secondly, one procedure that she opted to have was not covered by insurance at all. Thirdly, she will be out of work for three weeks for surgery and then random days during chemotherapy reducing her monthly income.
Please do not feel any obligation to contribute, but some have asked and we wanted to offer the opportunity to help Becky. Thank you to those who have already donated to her directly.
Thank you from our hearts. We covet your prayers in the days/weeks to come.
