I've been a part of IfNotNow since the very first day (in July 2014), and for the last two-plus years I've been working full-time to support the movement. (This is a photo of me from the April 2016 Liberation Seder with IfNotNow in NYC.)
While I care deeply about the work we do, it can be challenging to feel the moral urgency and true stakes of what we're fighting for from our relative comfort and distance here in the US.
I'm excited to be joining a delegation run by the Center for Jewish Nonviolence* (CJNV) to spend time alongside Israeli, Palestinian and international activists fighting for justice in the region. And know that building these relationships and spending time on the ground will help strengthen my work and my commitment to this issue - not just intellectually but in my heart and soul - when I'm behind a computer screen in Philadelphia.
***
I'm hoping to raise $2000 by March 1 to cover the cost of the delegation ($1200) and airfare to Tel Aviv.
Whether you can give $5, $18 or $50, your support will help me greatly!

More about the Center for Jewish Nonviolence: CJNV strengthen and uplifts a robust and connected movement of Palestinians, Israelis and Diaspora Jews committed to active shared resistance to the Occupation by mobilizing Diaspora Jews to join Palestinians and Israelis in nonviolence civil resistance to the Israeli Occupation in the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza.
