Help Becky's Little Ladies After Losing Their Mom

To know her was to love her. To be in her presence was understanding true happiness and love. Be it family, friend, or acquaintance those who knew Becky were better off because of it. Becky was the one that could bring sunshine into any room. She was the shoulder you always knew you could lean on and the calming voice through any storm. On June 27th this amazing light was taken from us all. For those that were close to Becky her memory will never fade and her smile and love will always be felt. Becky created the most magical and whimsical childhood for her three girls El (13), Brooke (8), and Abby (6). Many times she did while managing El’s ongoing medical challenges and her own. These girls were surrounded by so much love and support even during the toughest times for Becky. Just recently as we sat in the hospital and the fear Becky felt was overwhelming, that fear was for her girls and never herself. Becky’s passing came too soon for so many, but for these girls it wasn’t just too soon it was something that should have never happened.

Raising three girls is hard enough but now John must face this task on his own. The financial burdens that remain from Becky’s care and the ongoing costs of providing for these girls should not take away from his ability to keep Becky’s magic alive for them. For the past few months John has spent every minute taking care of Becky and the girls. He made sure they all were simply put ok.

Now they need us so this tragedy doesn’t grow. The girls need John now more than ever. He needs to balance being a dad, keeping El healthy, financially supporting all of them, and trying to find time to heal himself.

Nothing will ever replace Becky’s loving heart and infectious smile but for John the steps ahead will be hard and this is our chance to help as Becky would have done for anyone she met. I ask that you dig deep and then a little deeper for these 3 girls. Please share far and wide so that while we take care of them they can focus on healing and keeping Becky’s spirit alive.
