Bedford Athletic RFC needs YOU! Covid-19 Appeal

I have created this campaign on behalf of Bedford Athletic RFC (Mark Daniels - Club Treasurer), please see our story below;
Due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, the 2019/2020 season has unfortunately been cut short and in line with government directives, Bedford Athletic RFC has been closed since the 19th March. With the current situation remaining highly volatile, it provides no reassurance or ability to forecast as to when we will be able to safely reopen the club and resume normal business.
From September to April, our incredible facilities are used primarily by the wide range of inclusive and diverse teams at our club. From April to September, we make the most of our facilities to generate income to support the ongoing running of our community club. Without this we are going to be heading into the 2020/2021 season, with no source of income, leaving the club teetering on the brink of ceasing to exist.
The club has already taken several drastic measures to cut its outgoings during this period of closure as well as making plans to access government and RFU grants where possible. However, there have been and still are several immediately payable bills that without ordinary sources of income, the club needs YOUR help to pay.
This appeal is a one-off request to ensure that we are in the best possible place to restart rugby at Bedford Athletic as soon as we are safely able to and go back to providing a place to enjoy the sport, we all love, once again.
The club recognises that times will be tough for many of you, but we hope our members, supporters and friends will be able to contribute in any way you can.
