Tragically, my father was ill-stricken by the Corona virus in the middle of December which prompted him to stay in the hospital for 4 weeks. Bee fought continuously for those 4 weeks with some days being good, and some days being bad. Unfortunately, Bee was not able to survive due to the failure of his lungs which decreased the flow of oxygen throughout his body. Although he left so soon, Bee was able to pass peacefully with family and friends by his side.

Bee was a funny yet soft-spoken brother, cousin, uncle, nephew, friend, father, and husband. One thing I remembered while growing up is that he would always make funny faces towards the camera. Of course my mom would be frustrated but he made the entire room smile and laugh as we patiently waited for him to smile for the camera. I’m pretty sure a lot of family and friends knew him as a clown who could sit and laugh with all day any day. He grew up with 3 other siblings and later found his wife Lee Vang who both created 5 loud and amazing kids.

For anyone who didn’t know Bee, he would hang out with family and friends and charm everyone he ever met with his humor. Bee was well known in the Hmong community as he would offer rides, advice, car help, or any extra help with any trade services. He never left anyone in the dark when others would ask for help. Regardless of skill level, he would make any effort to help any individual. Later, he then would celebrate with a glass of beer. Some of his favorite hobbies include playing volleyball and coaching volleyball, fishing (specifically crappie fishing), hanging out with friends, and spending time with his family when he could. Bee was a hardworking man who worked tirelessly to support his family and he never took a break. Bee was a good friend and family member who wanted to see everyone smile. Unfortunately, he was taken away from all of us too soon and he will be missed.

Any donations will go directly to funeral expenses and family needs. Thank you all for supporting him and his family in this unprecedented event and thank you all for allowing Bee to be gracefully rested in peace.
