Beedles Braving Battens

Donation protected
Hello! This GoFundMe page is set up for the Beedle Family of St Anne by dear family friends because of their oldest daughter, Annabelle’s, most recent liver failure journey.
As you may know, Amanda and Adam have two beautiful little girls, Annabelle and Abigail. Both girls are braving a very rare brain disease called CLN2 Batten Disease. Their Batten Diagnosis was received in December 2020. As their Batten journey continues, the girls access a brain infusion every two weeks at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. The girls continue to receive exemplary care and frequently travel to Chicago for these infusions and specialty appointments, along with frequent PT/OT/Speech, and equine therapy sessions.
When this family’s Batten journey began, a prior GoFundMe was generously established to support them. You can find it at the link below.

Fundraiser for Amanda Beedle by The Beedle Family Fund : Please Help the Beedle Family (gofundme.com)

The reason friends of the Beedle family have chosen to set this new page up is because of Annabelle’s unexpected and most recent liver journey.
In early March, Annabelle went into very sudden, severe, and unexpected liver failure. She was admitted to the PICU. By all accounts, her liver was damaged and quickly dying and the medical team prepared the family for what was ahead– that she may not make it through the night. A world-class team began responding to Annabelle’s critical condition. Prayer warriors prayed. Mom and Dad never left her side. One week later, things began to change in a miraculously positive way! Annabelle’s liver damage stopped and the small percentage of her liver that remained alive began to do the hard work of regenerating healthy cells. She is now awake and alert! She and her family have a lengthy inpatient stay ahead at Shirley Ryan Rehab Hospital. This will provide Annabelle with top-notch care as her liver continues to heal and her strength returns. The family does have access to a room at the Ronald McDonald House.
Annabelle’s turnaround is nothing short of a miracle. Mom and Dad have not left their daughter’s side. Dad has not been able to return to work since this happened as his presence is needed to support Annabelle through her recovery. As you can imagine, the bills are piling up as life continues on.
As friends to the Beedle family, we ask if you would help us share this GoFundMe page so we might be able to ease a bit of the financial burden that is weighing heavily on them.
Adam,Amanda, Annabelle, and Abigail are overflowing with
gratitude for the generosity of family, friends, and complete strangers. They appreciate every single message, prayer, gift, and all of the love being sent to them. It means the world to them to know you hold them in prayer– truly the greatest gift you can give them. THANK YOU!!
