Help Fund BeeSTAR Robotics to Compete at World
Tax deductible
We are BEESTAR! A FLL (First Lego League) robotics team from Beehive Academy. We are heading to the World Championship In Texas in April 2025! Our team has put in over 600 hours of outreach, plus more than 1050 hours of after school time working on our robot! This took a lot of hard work, dedication, and grit to achieve.

But… we need your help. Our team comes from many different backgrounds and some can’t afford to pay for this opportunity.
Competing at worlds comes with costs like:
- Registration fees
- Travel and transportation
- Team shirts and supplies
We’re hoping to raise the money you see in the goal to cover these expenses so we can make the most of this amazing opportunity.
Every donation counts, our team is truly thankful for every dollar helping us achieve this amazing accomplishment.
Our journey to this point hasn’t always been easy. We are a team consisting of half men, half women, and diverse backgrounds that always have very different minds. And yet, we work together as one, getting 425/600 points on our robot game and inventing a soon to be patent pending Up Detector for Scuba divers.
How our soon to be patent pending Up Detector works:

Each of our team designs and programs the robot to complete as many missions as the robot autonomously can in 2 minutes 30 seconds.

We program our robot in Python for consistency and speed. We use real engineering techniques including proportional control.

Our coach wanted to say to you, "These kids inspire me every day. Despite the trials and frustrations of middle school and external obstacles in their lives, they live up to their expectations of being a good person, learning much, working hard, and finding joy in each other and the work. I cannot fund them alone. Your help will help us cross the finish line and help them all compete."
