Badminton World Championships 2018

Hey Everyone!
My name is Beiwen Zhang, I am a professional badminton player (currently #12 in the world for Women’s Singles) representing the United States of America. (http://bwfbadminton.com/player/53806/beiwen-zhang)
I have played for USA professionally for 5 years, largely on self-funding, relying on my equipment sponsorship (Yonex) and prize money from international competitions and leagues. Since there is little to no support from the badminton organizations in the US and since this sport is not as popular here; I’ve come to GoFundMe for the first time to ask for support for my dream.
Recently, I qualified for the 2018 World Championships; the first time in my career! However, I’ve come to the point in my career where my funds are not enough to keep me going but with your help I can achieve goals that I originally could not have imagined.
I have many expenses, such as, training, plane tickets, hotel booking, and tournament registration; Your donation will not only mean a great deal to me but being able to compete in this upcoming tournament would also be a big step towards my dream of representing the United States of America for the next Summer Olympics 2020.
Career Highlights:
I started playing for the US in 2013 and won my first Badminton World Federation Grand Prix title at the US Open in 2014. I broke the top 10 in rankings in 2017 when I was 9th in the world. I won my first BWF World Tour Super 500 (Super Series equivalent) at the India Open 2018.
