Please join us in giving a voice to our wounded IDF soldiers, by donating and/or taking part in our virtual half marathon (21.1 km or 13.1 miles) scheduled to commence at 10 am February 28th 2021. We will provide running, sleep and clothing programs for all participants.
We have set an ambitious first time fundraising target of $18,000 USD.
As some of you know, running has always been close to our hearts. Ari and I first met on a run through through Central Park which coincidentally led us to meet again a few weeks later at the Miami Marathon.
Our fundraising initiative is proud to partner with Belev Echad – a New York City based charity dedicated and committed to building a community of kindness around wounded veterans of the IDF and their families. The goals of their programs are to alleviate the extraordinary physical and emotional toll they face through educational, social, financial and cultural support. Belev Echad’s programs ensure our troops are cared for well after their tours of duty end by easing the transition through a system of support that empowers each veteran to live a life without limits.

These courageous young men and women have selflessly risked life and limb for the safety of the Jewish Homeland. The work completed with these wounded veterans shows the collective solidarity and gratitude for their enormous sacrifice. It is now critical for us to ensure they have access to everything they need during these daunting and isolating times. So far during the pandemic, two of the most widely donated (and high in demand) items are laptops and ergonomic chairs. These items enable individuals to remain connected with those they love, attend (Zoom) therapy sessions, and continue to interview for jobs while transitioning back into everyday life. Belev Echad enables and empowers our soldiers to reach their highest potential.
With our deepest gratitude, we thank you for your love and support. We are personally invested to ensure we raise as much money as possible for this worthy and noble cause.
