Believing for a Baby for the Taylors

As a little girl we dream of meeting our Prince Charming, getting married and one day having a family of our own. For me that’s about how it happened however, my youngest sister Hilliary’s life didn’t go as she had planned.
She didn’t meet her Prince Charming (Kevin) right away and all though they weren’t trying to conceive right away they weren’t preventing it either. They had a bumpy road early in their marriage but after God brought them through it they decided to start trying to conceive. This was several years ago. Hilliary knew it might not be an easy road as she has had female issues most of her adult life. Months turned into years and still no baby. They continued to pray, fast and tithe fully believing that God had a plan and a purpose for this journey.
This journey lead Hilliary through 4 years of fertility treatment with no success. Then the journey continued through several rounds of clomid, a round of iui, through surgeries, numerous procedures and a lot of blood work and ultrasounds all to no avail. After much prayer and their hearts fearful they took a leap of faith and decided to try ivf even though the cost was way more than they really could afford. They were very fortunate to have ins to help with 1 round of IVF, but they still had to pay several thousand dollars out of pocket even with ins.
The fertility center Hilliary has been dealing with did a transfer on Jan 10th after almost a full year of surgeries, treatments, injections and other medications. The transfer was successful, but unfortunately the baby did not want to mature past 6weeks and she miscarried. After hearing the news I started to cry thinking, my sister would never have kids, she would never feel a baby kicking in her tummy or hear their little feet running through the house, she would never go to a basketball game, no school talent shows, no graduations...fear, fear, fear. My heart broke all over again for my sister. Then I was reminded of Gods word, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7. I’m not going to say her faith hasn’t been shaken. Hebrews 11:1 has been on repeat in my mind….Now FAITH is the substance of things Hoped for the EVIDENCE of things not seen.
We all have been praying for so long and they have fought this battle for as long as they can on their own. They need help; their doctor says they have a higher chance of not having a miscarriage with a second round of IVF. Their insurance money and saving are both depleted, but we know God’s miracles are NOT depleted! We are in total peace knowing that God has a plan for their lives, and for the first time, I believe it is through this second treatment. Not because God is unable to do this on His own, but to teach them and others that sometimes He needs you to take action. Don't just say "it will happen just have faith," but get up and give God something to work with! Taking action does not mean not having faith, it means acting in faith! Today we are taking action to not live in fear of the unknown but to know that God guides every step we take and we believe that this is the journey He has put them on. They have been praying for a baby for years and it would be such a blessing to give them this second chance at an opportunity to have one.
Raising $20,000 seems impossible, but we know that God is a big God and that when we “delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Pslam 37:4.” We know that God put this desire in our hearts and we are asking that our friends and family pray for us during this long process and to provide for us where you feel called. Thank you for your prays and the blessing you have been to our lives! Please help us spread the word and help us get to our goal of raising $20,000, every dollar helps!
