Help Us Start Our Family: Supporting Andrew and Katrina's IVF Journey

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Supporters,

We’re reaching out to you with hopeful hearts and a humble request. As most of you know, Andrew and I have been on a challenging journey to start a family, but we’ve encountered obstacles along the way. We recently found out that my NK cells are elevated which can cause early miscarriages.

All of my past pregnancies end shortly after the 6-7 week mark, more than likely are caused from these cells attacking the pregnancy. After consulting with new medical professionals, we’ve learned that IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) with intralipid infusions is our best path forward. However, the expenses associated with IVF, including medications, medical appointments, motel stays, and travel costs, are substantial.

For years, we've dreamed of becoming parents and experiencing the joy of raising a child together. Despite our unwavering love and dedication, infertility has stood in our way for nine years. We’ve endured the emotional roller coaster of failed treatments and heartbreaking setbacks. But through it all, our desire to become parents has only grown stronger.

Why IVF? IVF offers us the best chance of fulfilling our dream of parenthood. While it’s a daunting journey both emotionally and financially, we believe it’s worth every sacrifice to hold our baby in our arms and build the family we’ve always dreamed of. Your support can make a world of difference in our IVF journey. Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings us closer to our goal. Your generous donations will directly fund our IVF treatment expenses, including our initial deposit, medical consultations, motels for required stays, and travel costs.

Miraculously, Andrew's job offers IVF coverage, which still blows our minds. It covers some of our medications for one cycle ($10K), and also most of the IVF procedure, (egg retrieval, embryo transfer and freezing/storage). We count ourselves very blessed to have this type of coverage! However, there are some procedures that is not covered, such as-up to three-Intralipid Infusions to help prevent early loss, embryo genetic testing and more.

The anticipated procedure costs that we will be responsible for comes to around $10K-$12K. Again, we are so blessed to have insurance coverage, but the amount that goes into just one IVF cycle is still very costly. Please feel free to share our fundraiser with your network. By spreading the word, you’re helping us reach more people who may be able to support our cause.

Puzzle Piece $20 per piece (no limit to how many you can purchase)

•Puzzle: The goal is to sell all 520 pieces of this custom puzzle drawn by Katrina. Each person who donates by purchasing 1+ puzzle pieces will have their name written on the back of the piece(s). Once the puzzle is completed, it will be framed and hung in their future baby's nursery.

•T-shirts are designed by Andrew and screen-printed by 5D Screenprinting. They will go on pre sale for $20 a piece!
