Belize Children’s Assistance

To those that have visited the beautiful island of Ambergris Caye, I'm sure you have met and dealt with the wonderful people that live there.  A majority of the inhabitants of Ambergris Caye depend on the tourism industry for their livelihood.  Due to travel bans resulting in no tourists, they are barely able to make ends meet and will be affected for at least a few more months.  San Pedro and surrounding areas have been terribly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.  Many rent their homes and without income they won't be able to provide shelter and food for their families.  They are doing the best they can to provide for their families but they are in dire straits! I particular, the children are suffering and going hungry at night. NO child should go to bed hungry! I wanted to help and was asked to help with this GOFUNDME account.  I know that I don't live in Belize but I fell in love with the people and the island of Ambergris Caye.  If they have touched you in some way, much like they did me, won't you please help?  Thank you!
